STONEDRIVE - A moment of weakness Review
Wow!! 2008 is really starting off with a bang.. For anyone that enjoys bands like Alter Bridge or Nickelback the next big thing has arrived and their name is Stonedrive.
Hailing from Paris France these rockers have come to the U.S. with a mission and that seems to be to take over the country with their hard infectious brand of rock. With a singer in the vein of a young Chris Cornell and the guys behind him to back it up Stonedrive looks to have the talent it takes to one day climb the charts and become bona fide rock stars.
I didn't know exactly what to expect when I first gave these guys a try but from start to finish this album had my friends and I jamming out. From the first single "Breathe" to the ultra heavy "Redemption Day" each track is full of catchy riffs and tight playing. The singer's got a very strong, versatile, edgy voice and the harmony vocals are subtly excellent. I highly recommend checking these guys out!! You won't be disappointed.
